The holder of space
Daniel Tagge, MD

Daniel Tagge, MD, is a board-certified family physician in Charlotte, North Carolina. He founded Whole Purpose Health, and in the gatherings he is the holder of space.
Medicine was part of his life long before it became his profession. Both of his parents are surgeons, and both of his grandfathers were physicians. He earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his Family Medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center.
After residency he worked as an attending physician in a rural hospital and clinic, where he kept meeting chronic and metabolic disease years into its course. That turned his attention to the years before diagnosis, and to what people can build together over time.
He is North Carolina's first physician fully certified to practice Health Optimization Medicine, and he trained in medical acupuncture through the Helms Medical Institute. He teaches the five elements from Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche's teaching, in his own words.
Nobody does their health alone.
